At OUR Place, we are thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Shining Stars of Recovery Awards Banquet, a key event in our celebration of National Recovery Month this September. This special evening, supported by the annual Ohio Mental Health & Addiction Services (OMHAS) Recovery Events Funding, will honor individuals who have shown outstanding progress in their recovery journeys and those who have made significant contributions to the recovery community in Portage County.

We invite you to participate in this meaningful event by nominating individuals who have made a profound impact on the recovery community. Whether they are making strides in their personal recovery or committing themselves to service work, we want to recognize and celebrate their dedication and achievements. This year, we are placing a special emphasis on honoring peer supporters. We encourage all agencies to ensure that their Peer Support Staff is included in this recognition.
